Growing up in Fayetteville, North Carolina, my father looked for ways to supplement the income he and my mother made from the Cumberland County School System. His motto: “The laborer is worthy of his hire.”

I remembered that motto when, at the age of 12, I started going out with him to clean windows for store fronts of local businesses like Lisa’s Picture Framing and corporate chains like Blockbuster. My father taught me how to work with my hands, communicate with people and conduct a business in a professional manner. Those skills stayed with me as I drove a forklift in a factory in the early 2000s and cleaned windows for stores on my days off.

Our Experience

Around 2003, I officially started NC Window Cleaning, and business took off. As we grew, we added new services and expanded our customer base to include residential homeowners. The results speak for themselves.

By 2007, we were servicing more than 500 commercial business monthly and had three work trucks on the road six days a week. We also faced our first real business challenge during the Great Recession. Just like the local economy, we had to pull ourselves back up.

We’re proud to say we’ve done more than survive—we’ve thrived. While we started out as a commercial window cleaning company, we’ve grown into a complete exterior cleaning company with hundreds of satisfied commercial and residential clients.
